Description

Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. operates as a parent company for Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., primarily engaging in the scheduled air transport of both passengers and cargo. The airline maintains extensive daily service connecting the State of Hawai'i with numerous cities across North America, including Long Beach, Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, and San Jose in California; Las Vegas, Nevada; Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon; Phoenix, Arizona; and New York City, New York. Its network further extends to include scheduled flights between Hawai'i and Austin, Texas; Boston, Massachusetts; Orlando, Florida; and Pago Pago, American Samoa. Domestically, Hawaiian Airlines provides frequent daily service on its "Neighbor Island" routes, facilitating travel among Hawai'i's four major islands. Internationally, the company offers scheduled flights linking the State of Hawai'i with key global destinations such as Tokyo (Narita) and Osaka in Japan, Sydney, Australia; Papeete, Tahiti; and Seoul, South Korea. Additionally, it undertakes various specialized charter operations. Ticket sales are managed through diverse channels. For its North American and inter-island services, the company's website, hawaiianairlines.com, is the primary distribution point. International routes, however, predominantly rely on sales through travel agencies and wholesale partners. As of December 31, 2021, Hawaiian Airlines' fleet comprised 19 Boeing 717-200 aircraft dedicated to Neighbor Island routes, along with 24 Airbus A330-200s and 18 Airbus A321neos for its North American and international flights. Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. was founded in 1929 and is headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii.
