WisdomTree Petroleum is an Exchange Traded Commodity (ETC) that is fully backed by assets and adheres to UCITS eligibility criteria. Its primary objective is to offer investors comprehensive total return exposure to a diversified portfolio composed of various petroleum futures contracts. The ETC endeavors to mirror the performance of the Bloomberg Commodity Petroleum Subindex 4W Total Return Index (BCOMPE4T). This replication is achieved by tracking the Bloomberg Petroleum Sub Excess Return Index, which is then augmented by any accrued interest income and adjusted for applicable product fees and operational costs. To illustrate its direct correlation, should the Bloomberg Commodity Petroleum Subindex 4W Total Return Index increase by 1% on any given day, the ETC's value is expected to rise by a corresponding 1% before expenses. Conversely, a 1% decline in the index would similarly lead to a 1% decrease in the ETC's value, prior to the deduction of fees.
