This ETF is structured to deliver a daily return that is two times the inverse performance of an index comprising significant real estate investment trusts (REITs) listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. A committee from Solactive AG oversees the selection of the index's components, applying specific criteria for market capitalization and liquidity. The underlying index maintains an equal-weighted structure and is adjusted semi-annually, in March and September. Given its nature as a leveraged inverse product with a daily resetting -2x factor, this ETF is not appropriate for a long-term, buy-and-hold strategy, as its leveraged returns are not designed to accurately reflect periods exceeding a single day.
