This index aims to mirror the performance of large and mid-capitalization U.S. companies in the energy sector, as classified by the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS). Companies are weighted based on their free-float adjusted market capitalization. To ensure diversification, the maximum weight for any single corporate group in the index is capped at 35%, with other individual entities limited to 20%. A 10% buffer is applied to these limits during each index rebalancing. The index undergoes a thorough review on a quarterly basis.
