Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) operates as a comprehensive electric utility, handling the generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical power both within South Korea and across international borders. Its operations are structured across several key segments: Transmission and Distribution, Nuclear Power Generation, Thermal Power Generation, and other ancillary activities. KEPCO harnesses a diverse array of energy sources to produce electricity, including nuclear, coal, oil, liquefied natural gas (LNG), internal combustion, combined-cycle, and integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) technologies, alongside renewables such as hydroelectric, wind, solar, fuel cell, and biogas, among others.
