Tethys Oil AB (publ) is an energy firm primarily engaged in the discovery and extraction of oil and natural gas resources. The company's asset holdings include a 50% stake in Block 49, spanning approximately 15,439 square kilometers. It also possesses a 30% interest in Blocks 3&4, which features net working interests totaling 26,174 thousand barrels of proven and probable oil reserves, alongside 15,600 thousand barrels in 2C contingent resources. Further expanding its portfolio, Tethys Oil holds a 65% interest in Block 56, situated in the southeastern part of the Sultanate of Oman and covering roughly 5,808 square kilometers, as well as full ownership (100%) of Block 58, an approximately 4,557 square kilometer area located in Oman's southern Dhofar Governorate.
