Operating its own extensive network infrastructure, Lumen Technologies, Inc. delivers a comprehensive suite of technology and communication solutions, serving both corporate and individual clients across the United States and globally, primarily under its Lumen, Quantum Fiber, and CenturyLink banners. Its operations are structured into two main divisions: Business and Mass Markets. Lumen's offerings include a range of compute and application-centric services, encompassing cloud computing, various IT solutions, unified communications and collaboration tools, data center and colocation facilities, content delivery networks, and managed cybersecurity. The company also specializes in fiber infrastructure, delivering high-capacity optical wavelength networks, as well as dark fiber solutions and associated professional support. Additionally, its portfolio extends to voice and other specialized services, including dedicated private line circuits for secure site-to-site connections, traditional time-division multiplexing (TDM) voice services, synchronous optical network (SONET) based Ethernet, legacy data hosting solutions, and conferencing capabilities. By the close of 2021, Lumen reported approximately 4.5 million broadband subscribers.
