Energy Fuels Inc., together with its affiliated companies, operates within the United States, engaging in the discovery, extraction, processing, and sale of uranium through both conventional and in-situ recovery methods. The firm owns and manages several key operational sites, including the Nichols Ranch, Jane Dough, and Hank projects in Wyoming, the Alta Mesa project in Texas, and the White Mesa Mill located in Utah. Additionally, it holds interests in a variety of uranium and uranium/vanadium properties and projects, which are undergoing different stages of exploration, permitting, and evaluation across Utah, Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Incorporated in 1987, the company was formerly known as Volcanic Metals Exploration Inc. before rebranding as Energy Fuels Inc. in May 2006, and its headquarters are situated in Lakewood, Colorado.
