The WisdomTree FTSE 250 2x Daily Leveraged is a fully collateralized Exchange Traded Product (ETP) that adheres to UCITS standards. Its purpose is to offer investors amplified, two-times daily leveraged exposure to the performance of the FTSE 250 index. The ETP achieves this by tracking the FTSE 250 Daily Leveraged RT TR Index (MCXL2X), which aims to deliver a total return equivalent to twice the daily movements of the FTSE 250 Net Dividend Total Return Index, taking into account the various fees and expenses involved in maintaining a leveraged equity position. For illustration, a 1% daily increase in the FTSE 250 Net Dividend Total Return Index would typically result in a 2% gain for the ETP (before costs), while a 1% decline would lead to a 2% loss for the ETP (before costs).
