The Carbohydrate Solutions division focuses on converting grains into various products, including sweeteners, corn and wheat starches, syrups, glucose, wheat flour, and dextrose. It also produces alcohols such as ethyl alcohol and ethanol, corn gluten feed and meal, distillers' grains, and citric acids for food, animal feed, and industrial applications. Finally, the Nutrition segment provides a sophisticated portfolio of natural flavors, flavor systems, natural colors, proteins, emulsifiers, soluble fibers, polyols, hydrocolloids, and natural health and nutrition solutions like probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes, and botanical extracts. This segment further delivers other specialty food and feed ingredients, edible beans, formulated feeds, animal health and nutrition products, and handles contract and private label manufacturing for pet treats and foods. Beyond its core supply chain and manufacturing operations, ADM also offers financial services, including futures commission merchant and commodity brokerage services.
