The Accelerate Canadian Long Short Equity Fund (ATSX) aims to achieve substantial long-term wealth appreciation and provide enhanced risk-adjusted returns when compared to the broader Canadian stock market. Its fundamental goal is to outperform the Canadian equity market over an extended horizon. This is accomplished by primarily investing in a variety of Canadian and international companies whose securities are traded on Canadian exchanges, thus representing the expansive Canadian public equity landscape. A core element of its approach involves utilizing a long-short overlay portfolio, designed to achieve positive absolute returns. ATSX holds the option to employ derivatives to secure exposure to its long positions.
