The fund typically allocates at least 80% of its total net assets (including any capital borrowed for investment purposes) to a diverse portfolio of equity securities that pay dividends. This broad category of income-generating holdings may include common and preferred stocks from both domestic and international companies, debt instruments convertible into equity, American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs), Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). Additionally, the Adviser retains the flexibility to invest in privately offered versions of these same types of securities.
