Description

Operating globally, CAE Inc. and its subsidiaries specialize in delivering advanced simulation-based training and vital operational support. Its business is organized into three core segments: Civil Aviation, Defense and Security, and Healthcare. The Civil Aviation division offers comprehensive training solutions for flight, cabin, maintenance, and ground personnel within the commercial, business, and helicopter sectors. This includes the manufacturing of flight simulation training devices, provision of initial pilot education and crew placement services, and the development of integrated digital software for crew management, training operations, and optimization. CAE's Defense and Security segment furnishes specialized training and critical mission support to armed forces engaged in multi-domain operations, as well as to original equipment manufacturers, government entities, and public safety organizations. Within the Healthcare segment, the company develops holistic educational and training systems. These offerings span interventional and imaging simulations, structured curricula, audiovisual debriefing solutions, center management platforms, and patient simulators, catering to healthcare students, clinical professionals, various simulation centers (hospital and university), medical and nursing schools, paramedic services, military forces, medical associations, public health agencies, and OEMs. Originally established in 1947 as CAE Industries Ltd., the company adopted its current name, CAE Inc., in 1993 and maintains its corporate headquarters in Saint-Laurent, Canada.
