The Power Systems segment provides essential components such as power and distribution transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, instrument transformers, lightning arresters, isolators, and vacuum interrupters. This division also manages the full lifecycle of transmission and distribution projects, from design and product supply to procurement, construction, installation, and ongoing servicing, as well as developing substation infrastructure. Conversely, the Industrial Systems segment delivers a diverse array of products for industrial applications, including motors, AC generators, advanced drives and automation systems, soft starters, shaft power monitors, and heat exchanger drives utilizing switched reluctance motors. It also produces domestic and commercial fans, supplies traction electronics and machinery for railway transportation, manufactures railway signaling equipment, and creates stampings and laminations. Furthermore, this segment offers various pumps for residential, agricultural, and specialized uses, in addition to maintenance and refurbishment services for large rotating machines. Founded in 1937 and headquartered in Mumbai, India, the company was formerly known as Crompton Greaves Limited until its name change to CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited in February 2017.
