This actively managed ETF aims to provide unitholders with regular quarterly income, the chance for capital growth, and reduced overall risk. It accomplishes this by investing on an equal-weight basis in the equity securities of at least the fifteen largest gold and precious metals companies, identified by their market capitalization and listed on North American stock exchanges. To help lower portfolio volatility compared to direct stock ownership, the fund employs a strategy of writing covered call options. While market capitalization is the primary selection criterion, the Portfolio Manager has the flexibility to modify the included issuers based on their evaluation of the liquidity of the companies' shares and their associated call options.
