Canadian Utilities Limited, alongside its affiliated companies, operates internationally across the electricity, natural gas, and retail energy sectors. Its operations are structured into three primary divisions: Utilities, Energy Infrastructure, and Corporate & Other. The Utilities segment is responsible for the regulated transmission and distribution of electricity throughout northern and central-east Alberta, as well as in the Yukon and Northwest Territories. This division also oversees integrated natural gas pipeline and distribution networks within Alberta, the Lloydminster region of Saskatchewan, and Western Australia. Its substantial infrastructure includes approximately 9,000 kilometers of natural gas pipelines, 16 compression stations, around 3,700 points for receiving and delivering gas, and a unique salt cavern storage facility located near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. The Energy Infrastructure segment focuses on a broader range of activities, offering solutions for electricity generation, natural gas storage, industrial water management, and the development of related infrastructure. These services are provided in Alberta, the Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Australia, Mexico, and Chile. Finally, the Corporate & Other segment manages the retail sales of electricity and natural gas, exclusively serving customers within Alberta. Established in 1927, Canadian Utilities Limited maintains its headquarters in Calgary, Canada, and operates as a subsidiary of ATCO Ltd.
