This fund primarily allocates its assets across a diverse array of debt and equity securities, originating from both U.S. and international entities. Its holdings may also extend to real estate-related investments and securities from emerging markets. MFS specifically targets the fixed-income component of the portfolio, focusing on investment-grade corporate bonds, U.S. government obligations, higher-yielding (below investment grade) debt from developed market issuers, and bonds from emerging economies. Notably, the fund retains the flexibility to commit up to 100% of its debt investments to these speculative-grade instruments.
