This fund aims to deliver significant capital appreciation over an extended period. Its strategy involves dedicating at least 80% of its total holdings to the stock of companies with small market capitalizations. The portfolio maintains geographic diversity by investing in businesses based in no fewer than three countries, which could include the U.S. While more than a quarter of the fund's assets can be concentrated in a single country, it also has the option to invest up to 10% of its total assets in emerging market equities. The manager considers small-capitalization companies to be those whose market capitalization, at the moment of purchase, falls within the thresholds established by the S&P Developed SmallCap Index.
