After that date, its primary goal transitions to providing substantial ongoing income, with asset growth becoming a secondary objective. To achieve these aims, the fund strategically diversifies its investments across a range of underlying Fidelity portfolios, including domestic and international stock funds, bond funds, and short-term holdings.
