It predominantly allocates its resources to the common stock of substantial American corporations that are judged to be undervalued when compared to the wider market. The investment adviser utilizes a large-cap value methodology, frequently selecting portfolio holdings from companies listed in the Russell 1000® Value Index. Should there be any change in its investment guidelines that would permit the fund to typically invest less than 80% of its net assets (plus any assets acquired through borrowing) in large-cap securities, investors will be notified at least 60 days beforehand.
