Description

This fund, the First Trust Capital Strength UCITS ETF, functions as a passively managed investment vehicle. Its primary objective is to closely mirror the performance of a specific equity benchmark, The Capital Strength IndexSM ("the Index"), replicating its price movements and income generation before the deduction of the Fund's own operating costs and fees. To fulfill this investment mandate, the Fund's strategy dictates that at least 90% of its net assets will be allocated directly to the common stocks and real estate investment trusts (REITs) that constitute the underlying Index. Should direct acquisition of a particular index security prove unfeasible, the Fund also has the flexibility to invest in various depositary receipts—such as American, Global, or European Depositary Receipts—that represent those same Index-component securities.
