This passively managed Sub-Fund seeks to foster long-term capital growth. Its core investment objective is to closely mirror the performance of the Goldman Sachs ActiveBeta Paris-Aligned Sustainable US Large Cap Equity Index (the "Index") prior to the deduction of fees and expenses. A key aim of the Sub-Fund is to facilitate a reduction in greenhouse gas ("GHG") emissions, aligning with the long-term decarbonisation goals and global temperature targets established by the Paris Climate Agreement. The Index was specifically constructed to support these sustainability aspirations. The Sub-Fund fulfills its objective by replicating the Index, holding its component securities in proportions similar to their weightings within the Index. These investments are concentrated in stocks of large-capitalization US companies.
