It mirrors the MSFXSM Long Euro/GBP Total Return Index (MSCEGEL). The overall return encompasses the daily fluctuations of foreign exchange forward contracts, where one is long Euro and short Pound sterling, augmented by interest income, after accounting for all product-related fees and expenses.
