The Invesco Global Clean Energy UCITS ETF (GCEX.L) is designed to deliver the net total return of the WilderHill New Energy Global Innovation Index, factoring in associated fees. This fund issues dividends to shareholders on a quarterly basis. The benchmark index specifically monitors the performance of companies worldwide that are pioneering advancements in clean energy generation and consumption, energy conservation, efficiency improvements, and the expansion of renewable energy sources. Each component security within the index is equally weighted and undergoes rebalancing every quarter. The index's constituents largely include firms engaged in wind, solar, biofuels, hydroelectric, wave, tidal, geothermal, and other renewable power operations, alongside those focused on energy conversion, storage, conservation, efficiency, relevant materials, carbon and greenhouse gas reduction, pollution control, and emerging hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. For inclusion in the index, securities must also meet specific liquidity and tradability requirements. To achieve its goal, the fund endeavors to acquire and maintain, to the greatest extent possible, all the securities comprising the Reference Index at their designated weightings, adjusting its portfolio in sync with the index's rebalancing schedule. This ETF operates under a passive management strategy.
