The Invesco Global Clean Energy UCITS ETF Acc (GCLX.L) is structured to replicate the net total return performance of the WilderHill New Energy Global Innovation Index (referred to as the "Reference Index"), after accounting for fees. This Reference Index is meticulously designed to track the performance of publicly traded companies worldwide that are at the forefront of developing innovative solutions for cleaner energy generation and utilization, energy conservation, efficiency improvements, and the advancement of renewable energy sources. Its methodology applies an equal weighting to each security, with rebalancing occurring on a quarterly basis. The index's constituents predominantly operate in diverse renewable energy sectors such as wind, solar, biofuels, hydro, wave, tidal, and geothermal. It also encompasses firms engaged in energy conversion, storage, conservation, and efficiency, as well as those producing related materials, working on carbon and greenhouse gas reduction, pollution control, and developing nascent hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. Eligibility for inclusion requires securities to satisfy specific liquidity and tradability standards. The fund endeavors to achieve this objective by holding, as far as practicable, all the constituent securities of the Reference Index in their proportionate weightings. Its portfolio is adjusted to reflect any changes made during the index's rebalancing periods. As a passively managed Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), an investment in this fund represents ownership of fund units rather than direct holdings in the underlying companies themselves.
