This fund generally allocates a substantial portion, specifically no less than 80%, of its net assets (a figure which incorporates any funds borrowed for investment purposes) to various debt instruments. A significant component of this allocation, amounting to at least half of the portfolio's net capital (including borrowed funds), is dedicated to obligations issued by the U.S. government and repurchase agreements collateralized by such federal securities. The adviser's objective is to maintain a dollar-weighted average maturity for the portfolio's investments falling within a timeframe of three to ten years.
