WisdomTree Wheat 2x Daily Leveraged is an asset-backed Exchange Traded Commodity (ETC) designed to offer investors amplified, short-term exposure to the wheat market. This financial instrument's overall return is generated by aiming to replicate twice the daily performance of the Bloomberg Wheat Sub Excess Return Index (BCOMWH), also incorporating any interest income, after accounting for all applicable product charges and expenses. For instance, if the BCOMWH index increases by 1% during a trading day, the ETC's value would consequently rise by 2%, not including fees. Conversely, a 1% fall in the index over a day would lead to a corresponding 2% decrease in the ETC's value, before fees.
