This exchange-traded fund aims to largely track the investment results of the John Hancock Dimensional Canadian Large Cap Equity Index (CAD), or any index that replaces it, before fees and expenses, and to the greatest practical extent. Its core investment strategy focuses on acquiring, either directly or indirectly, equity securities of major Canadian companies. The underlying index is constructed from a select group of Canadian stocks issued by corporations whose market capitalizations are typically larger than that of the 86th largest Canadian firm at the time of its rebalancing.
