This includes securities such as senior loans, floating rate notes, fixed-rate, high-yield corporate bonds, or other debt obligations. The adviser typically uses fundamental analysis to select investments for the portfolio. Constant reviews of the fund’s constituents enable a diversification of the issuers held in the portfolio by a number of factors, including industry and sector. while qualitative insights and quantitative tools are used to monitor the opportunities in foreign currencies. Foreign currency exposure may be hedged back to the Canadian dollar at the adviser’s discretion.
