Under typical market conditions, the fund aims to achieve its investment goals by dedicating at least 80% of its overall investable capital (inclusive of funds borrowed for investment purposes) to dividend-paying equity securities issued by companies based in China. The fund also has the discretion to invest in convertible debt and equity instruments of varying maturities and credit qualities. This encompasses securities that are unrated or would be considered below investment grade if they had a rating, provided they originate from companies situated in China. For clarity, China, in the context of this fund, includes its administrative regions and other territories, such as Hong Kong.
