This fund enables investors to gain exposure to physical silver via the Canadian Silver Reserves Program. The Royal Canadian Mint acts as the official custodian, holding the silver bullion on behalf of those who own Exchange Traded Receipts (ETRs). These ETRs are publicly listed on the TSX and can be traded just like any other security available on the exchange. Each ETR grants its owner an undivided beneficial stake in the silver bullion managed by the custodian, guaranteeing that beneficial ownership of the silver always resides with the ETR holder. It's important to note that the underlying silver bullion is stored on an unallocated basis, meaning an individual ETR holder's share of bullion is not physically separated from other unallocated silver reserves at the Mint.
