MorphoSys AG is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery, advancement, and marketing of innovative therapeutic antibodies aimed at treating cancer and autoimmune disorders. While its commercial operations are primarily situated in the United States, its development and partnership activities span globally. A key commercial offering is Tafasitamab, an antibody prescribed for various B-cell malignancies, including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, and marginal zone lymphoma. The company's robust developmental pipeline includes Pelabresib, a small molecule undergoing Phase II trials for myelofibrosis; Felzartamab, an antibody targeting CD38, currently in Phase I/II studies for the autoimmune condition anti-PLA2R-positive membranous nephropathy; and CPI-0209, a small molecule in Phase I/II designed to promote anti-tumor activity by inhibiting EZH2. MorphoSys also participates in several partnered programs, such as Gantenerumab, an antibody for Alzheimer's disease; Otilimab for rheumatoid arthritis; Tremfya, used in psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and palmoplantar pustulosis; and MOR210/TJ210, an antibody focused on immuno-oncology and autoimmune diseases. Strategic alliances are crucial to its business model, encompassing a regional licensing agreement with I-Mab Biopharma for felzartamab in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, alongside a strategic partnership with LEO Pharma. Furthermore, MorphoSys holds a joint collaboration and license agreement with Incyte Corporation for the development and commercialization of tafasitamab. A clinical collaboration also exists with Incyte Corporation and Xencor, Inc., exploring a combination therapy of tafasitamab, plamotamab, and lenalidomide for patients with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and follicular lymphoma. Established in 1992, MorphoSys AG's corporate headquarters are located in Planegg, Germany.
