This ETF aims to closely track, before any fees or expenses, the performance of the John Hancock Dimensional Large Cap Index (CAD Hedged) or a successor index. Its portfolio is mainly concentrated in large-capitalization U.S. equities, acquired either directly or indirectly. A key feature of the fund is its strategy to hedge almost all foreign currency exposure attributable to the Hedged Units back to the Canadian dollar. The underlying Index itself selects U.S. equity securities from companies that, at the time of rebalancing, rank among the largest 800 by market capitalization in the U.S. market.
