Description

The ETF seeks to replicate, to the extent reasonably possible and before fees and expenses, the performance of the John Hancock Dimensional Mid Cap Index (CAD Hedged) ("Index"), or any successor thereto. The ETF invests directly or indirectly primarily in mid-capitalization U.S. equities. The ETF seeks to hedge all or substantially all of the foreign currency exposure in the portfolio that is attributable to the Hedged Units back to the Canadian dollar. The Index is designed to comprise a subset of equity securities in the U.S. universe issued by companies whose market capitalizations are between the 200th and 951st largest U.S. company at the time of rebalancing.
