This ETF aims to replicate the performance of the John Hancock Dimensional Mid Cap Index (CAD Hedged) or its successor, striving for the closest possible match before accounting for fees and expenses. It primarily invests, directly or indirectly, in U.S. equities from mid-capitalization companies. A core feature for its Hedged Units is the substantial mitigation of foreign currency exposure, converting it back to Canadian dollars. The Index itself is constructed from U.S. equity securities, specifically those issued by companies ranking between the 200th and 951st largest by market capitalization in the U.S. at the time of each rebalancing.
