Its primary goal is to achieve market neutrality, meaning it typically aims for an equity market beta of zero or a very low correlation to the broader stock markets. Beyond traditional stocks, the fund's holdings can encompass a range of derivatives, such as options, futures, forward contracts, and swaps, alongside investments in other funds.
