The WisdomTree Physical Precious Metals fund is an Exchange Traded Commodity (ETC) structured to meet UCITS eligibility, offering investors a straightforward, economical, and secure avenue for gaining exposure to physical precious metals. Its performance closely tracks the spot market price movements of these metals, adjusted for its management fees. The ETC's value is underpinned by fully allocated physical precious metals, securely held by HSBC Bank plc, the designated custodian. Only metals adhering to the stringent "Good Delivery" standards established by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) and London Platinum and Palladium Association (LPPM) are accepted into custody. Each individual bar of metal is kept separate, uniquely identified, and specifically assigned. To illustrate its price mechanism: if the underlying physical precious metals appreciate by 1% in a single day, the ETC's value will typically increase by the same percentage, prior to fees. Conversely, a 1% decline in the metals' price would result in a corresponding 1% decrease in the ETC's value, also before fees.
