Description
Pembina Pipeline Corporation provides vital transportation and midstream services for the energy industry, organized into three core operational divisions. Its Pipelines segment manages an extensive network of conventional, oil sands, and heavy oil pipelines, along with transmission infrastructure, boasting a daily transportation capacity of 3.1 million barrels of oil equivalent. This division also oversees 11 million barrels of ground storage and rail terminalling facilities capable of handling around 105,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, serving energy markets and production basins across North America. The Facilities segment offers critical infrastructure for processing natural gas, condensate, and various natural gas liquids (NGLs) like ethane, propane, butane, and condensate. Key components include NGL fractionation capacity of 354,000 barrels per day, subterranean cavern storage for 21 million barrels, and integrated pipeline and rail terminalling facilities. Finally, the Marketing & New Ventures segment focuses on the buying and selling of hydrocarbon liquids and natural gas, primarily sourced from the Western Canadian sedimentary basin and other significant resource regions. Established in 1954, Pembina Pipeline Corporation is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
