Distinct from conventional market-capitalization weighted indices, this benchmark determines its constituent weightings using fundamental indicators of company strength. These key factors include average sales and cash flow over the preceding five years, the company's book value at the review date, and the aggregate dividends distributed over the prior five-year period. The fund achieves its objective through full physical replication, meaning it generally acquires and holds all the securities present in the index, proportionate to their respective weightings, as far as practicable.
