This Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) employs a passive investment strategy, focusing on debt securities issued by sovereign governments and central banks within emerging markets, encompassing countries like China. To be eligible for inclusion, bonds must be denominated in the issuer's domestic currency and have a remaining maturity of at least one year. Inflation-indexed bonds and short-term treasury bills are specifically excluded from the portfolio. The fund's holdings are weighted by market capitalization, with a prudential cap of 10% on any single country's allocation.
