Under normal market conditions, the fund dedicates a minimum of 40% of its assets, calculated at the point of acquisition, to equity securities. These include shares of companies either organized or primarily based outside the United States, or those that generate the majority of their assets or revenues from non-U.S. countries. The portfolio may also incorporate investment-grade debt instruments from corporations or governments, alongside foreign exchange futures and currency forward contracts.
