This exchange-traded fund (ETF) aims to generate income for a finite duration, culminating in its wind-up date. Its objective is to replicate, as closely as possible and before any fees or expenses, the investment returns of the FTSE Canada 2027 Maturity Corporate Bond Index. This benchmark index is structured to reflect the performance of a held-to-maturity portfolio, predominantly made up of Canadian dollar-denominated, investment-grade corporate bonds scheduled to mature effectively in 2027. The ETF itself is expected to cease operations around September 30, 2027.
