This WisdomTree Physical Swiss Gold product is an Exchange Traded Commodity (ETC) that meets UCITS eligibility standards, offering investors an easy, economical, and safe method to gain exposure to physical gold. Its performance mirrors the fluctuations in the physical gold spot price, after accounting for management charges. The ETC's value is underpinned by actual, allocated gold bars, securely stored by JPMorgan Chase Bank, N. A., which serves as the custodian. Only gold meeting the London Bullion Market Association's (LBMA) "Good Delivery" specifications is accepted. Each physical gold bar is kept separate, uniquely identified, and assigned specifically to the fund. For instance, if the price of physical gold increases by 1% in a single day, the ETC's value will also rise by 1% (before fees). Conversely, a 1% decline in physical gold's price over a day would result in a 1% decrease in the ETC's value (before fees).
