It operates as a "fund of funds," by directing its investments into various SEI Funds, referred to as Underlying SEI Funds, each of which has its own distinct investment strategy. These Underlying SEI Funds, in turn, deploy their capital across a broad spectrum of securities and other financial instruments spanning diverse asset classes. The fund maintains a diversified allocation, typically spreading its assets among Underlying SEI funds specializing in equities, fixed income (bonds and money market instruments), and real estate.
