Operating through its various subsidiaries, Sierra Metals Inc. is engaged in the extraction, prospecting, and enhancement of sites containing both precious and base metals across Peru and Mexico. Its core exploratory efforts target deposits rich in silver, copper, lead, zinc, and gold. The company's most significant asset is its Yauricocha Mine, a polymetallic site encompassing 18,778 hectares in Peru's Yauyos province, in which Sierra Metals holds an 81.84% stake. Additionally, it fully owns the Bolivar mine in Mexico, which consists of 12 concessions spanning 15,217 hectares, as well as the Cusi Mines, also in Mexico, featuring 73 concessions across 11,977 hectares.
