The fund is an exchange traded fund (ETF) that aims to track the performance of the Barclays US Aggregate Bond Index as closely as possible. The ETF invests in physical index securities. The Barclays US Aggregate Bond Index offers exposure to USD denominated investment grade fixed rate bonds including Treasuries, government-related, securitised and corporate securities. Only bonds with a minimum remaining time to maturity of one year are considered for inclusion in the index. iShares ETFs are funds managed by BlackRock.
