The WisdomTree FTSE 100 1x Daily Short is a fully backed, UCITS-eligible Exchange Traded Product (ETP) that aims to provide investors with inverse exposure to the FTSE 100. This ETP mirrors the performance of the FTSE 100 Daily Short Strategy RT Gross TR Index (UKXI1X), delivering a daily total return equivalent to negative one (-1x) times the performance of the FTSE 100 Declared Dividend Total Return Index. This return is also adjusted to account for ongoing fees, along with the costs and revenues inherent to short-selling underlying stocks. For example, if the FTSE 100 Declared Dividend Total Return Index advances by 1% in a day, the ETP is designed to fall by 1%, excluding fees. Conversely, a 1% daily decrease in the FTSE 100 Declared Dividend Total Return Index would result in a 1% increase for the ETP, before fees.
