The fund's core objective is to maximize total investment return, achieved through a combination of current income and long-term appreciation of capital. Typically, at least 80% of the portfolio's net assets, alongside any capital acquired through borrowing for investment purposes, are committed to equity holdings in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and other companies operating within the real estate industry. The investment approach usually involves allocating funds to issuers situated in a minimum of three different countries, with the United States being a potential inclusion. Moreover, no less than 30% of its net assets, combined with any borrowed capital, are specifically directed towards securities of entities either headquartered outside the U.S. or whose principal business activities are conducted internationally.
