Description

The sub-fund is designed to mirror, prior to the deduction of expenses, the capital appreciation and income generated by its designated benchmark, the Bloomberg US Government 10+ Year Inflation-Linked Bond Index. This index comprises all outstanding US Treasury Inflation Protected Securities (TIPS) that have a remaining maturity period of at least a decade. Significantly, it does not incorporate the value of TIPS held within the Federal Reserve's System Open Market Account (SOMA). Bonds are selected for inclusion based on rigorous screening criteria relating to their duration, total issuance size, and specific bond characteristics. The investment strategy employed by this fund is entirely passive.
