The WisdomTree Short USD Long GBP is a UCITS-eligible, fully collateralized Exchange Traded Product (ETP) that allows investors to gain exposure to the U.S. Dollar's value against the British Pound. This product is specifically structured to benefit from a weakening U.S. Dollar relative to the British Pound. It closely follows the MSFXSM Short US Dollar/GBP Total Return Index (MSCEGUS). The ETP's total return is derived from the daily movements of foreign exchange forward contracts, positioned short the USD and long the GBP, combined with accumulated interest income, all net of the product's associated fees and expenses. As an illustration, should the U.S. Dollar appreciate by 1% against the British Pound in a single trading day, the ETP's value would typically decrease by 1% (before fees). Conversely, a 1% depreciation of the U.S. Dollar against the British Pound over the same period would generally lead to a 1% increase in the ETP's value (prior to fees).
