WisdomTree Wheat is an Exchange Traded Commodity (ETC), compliant with UCITS regulations and fully backed by collateral. It's engineered to provide investors with comprehensive total return exposure to the derivatives market for wheat. This ETC's primary goal is to accurately replicate the performance of the Bloomberg Commodity Wheat Subindex 4W Total Return Index (BCOMWH4T). It achieves this by tracking the Bloomberg Wheat Sub Excess Return Index, while also factoring in generated interest income, all adjusted to account for the product's associated fees and operational costs. As a result, the ETC's daily price movements are designed to directly correspond with its underlying benchmark: if the Bloomberg Commodity Wheat Subindex 4W Total Return Index experiences a 1% rise, the ETC will likewise increase by 1% (prior to fees). Conversely, a 1% fall in the index would similarly lead to a 1% decline in the ETC, before any charges.
